Do you drink enough water every Day?

I have one very bad habit: drinking less amount of water. Today I was confused that although I have been trying my best way to improve my health and lose some wealth but my health has become very weak. At last I understood the problem. The main problem is that because last two months was winter and normally in winter, I drink less amount of water. Thus, I have been suffering from dehydration and as a result I have lost freshness in my body and mind.
So, what I am going to start is to drink an extra amount of water. I have read some in internet and I did not find any side effect of drinking more water. In fact, any website related on health has given this advice to drink enough water. You should at least drink 2 liter of water and if you can then try to drink more. If you don’t have problem of diabetics then you can drink even some fruit juice everyday. I like coconut water and from today I started to drink coconut water. Coconut water, fruit juice all are very good. On the other hand, alcohol and soft drinks are not good for health. However, most people are addicted to soft drinks and this is a very bad side effect of modern age. If you can stop drinking coca cola or Pepsi just like me then it will be very good for you and it will help you to decrease some weight.

Are you fond of Salad: You Should better Be

I just finished eating my lunch a few minutes ago and I ate Roti, Potato Bhaji and red lentil thick soup (Prepared in Bangladeshi way) and salad. It was cucumber, tomato and carrot salad. Just onion and green chili were mixed. This time, I made 20% of my lunch as salad and I feel now very light because of eating it. To be honest with you, I am not fond of salad at all. However, I am extremely fond of this item consisting of cucumber and tomato and I found reading in Internet that cucumber and tomato both are very good for health.
Today, I forgot to add lemon in it and when lemon is added then it is very tasty. Of course, some salt is added too. Sometimes, coriander leaves are also added in small amount. You can add Lettuce leaf too. If you want to make it heavy then you can boil an egg and mix with the salad. You can even boil a potato or two and add.
It is up to you how you enjoy it. Just try to enjoy salad and make it a part of your lunch and dinner. I am going to try that from today. Here problem is that in spring time, cucumber is sometimes bitter and not very tasty. However, still it is very helpful for the body.

Arsene Wenger Must Win Against on 27 February 2010

It will be an away match for Arsenal and Stoke City is a tough team to fight on their home ground. This weekend, Arsenal has perhaps easier opponent compared to both Chelsea and Manchester United. Manchester United will travel to play against Aston Villa while Chelsea will host to Manchester City. Arsenal fans will surely pray that both Chelsea and Manchester United lose points and there is every possibility that they can do so. However, this is a must win match for Arsene Wenger. If his players can win this match then surely it will give them a lot of confidence because in the next match they will face Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on 6 March.
We have to give Wenger a lot of credit for the fact that the Gunners are still in title race strongly. In the past, he inspired his players and he needs to do it again on this Saturday. It will be a physical match, as Stoke City are like that. Secondly, Wenger is limited with his options in the field because of the fact that many players are suffering from injuries. Still, some players like Bacary Sagna are hopeful that they can win the title this season. 

Back to 100 Kilogram Again

I have stopped counting days and night. On December 26, my weight was 100 KG and at that time I was losing weight. I could reach to 99 KG from 110 KG in just two months. Thus, in two months, I could lose 10 KG and came out of obesity. Because of very cold weather, I had to eat more food and it was like some kind of break for two months. I ate more and thus, 6 days ago, my weight reached to 104 KG. So, I was back to obesity again.
Today, I again reached to 100 KG and thus, I came out of obesity. Last few days, I have been trying hard to eat less. So, from tomorrow, I am going to start again from 100 KG weight and this time, my goal is to lose 10 Kilogram in 10 weeks. It is not easy and I know from my past experience that it needs a lot of mental strength. Well, at the same time, I also know that the first few days are very tough. After that it becomes a habit. I hope that I can continue doing it. Now, weather is very good- not hot and not cold. It is spring time in my city.
My plan is simple, I am going to start counting from each Friday. Tomorrow is Friday 26 February 2010. I am going to check every Friday.

The economy of Greece must not fail

Greece is suffering perhaps its worst economic problem for quite sometime. There is the impact of global recession and at the same time, the economy of Greece has its own problems. You can criticize the Greek government for its bad handling of the economy but at the same time you have to agree with me that it is not the time for debating over who is to blame for the current crisis. It is the time for saving the people of the country.
The other members of European Union should come forward to help Greek economy. England, France and Germany should come up with generous aid packages for their poor neighbor. I like to mention here that England, France and Germany provide a lot of foreign aid to many countries in Asia and Africa. Sweden and Denmark also provide a lot of foreign aid. The same can be said about Norway. These six countries can easily open up their hands a bit and help the Greek government to come out of the crisis.
In modern time, it will be very tragic to see the fall of an economy of a country.

Don’t Enter Pressure on Your Mind

In modern life, we are all the time running and often we find it very difficult to take any break. I tried to take a break of two weeks and from today, I hope come back to some normal work. No, I am not yet normal and I know that it will take another few weeks or even months to get back to full time working ability. What I have learnt is that you must not try to push yourself when you are weak.
When your health is weak then you should try to take some times off and take a break. If you have some pressing business then try to finish them and then take your break. For example, I am a full time professional blogger and my livelihood depends on it. However, for the last seventh months, things were out of control and I suffered a lot. I had to wait until the blogs reach to a level that if I take off for a month or two then it will not be a big problem. I have realized that even taking two weeks off helped.
Now, my main focus is not to enter any pressure on my health and mind. I will just try to gradually get back to work. Entering pressure makes thing worst only.

Fighting against the addiction of Tea and Coffee

I consider myself to be very lucky because in my teenage years, I did not get any habit of smoking cigarette. In fact, I am thankful to God for this matter that I never touched any cigarette. The same goes for wine and I never touched any kind of alcohol in my whole life. In fact, until the age of 31, I never drank regularly tea or coffee because when I used to drink tea or coffee, I had problem with sleeping. Then at the age of 32, a bad thing happened to me. I had too much work and I had to work very hard and in the end I had to drink tea and coffee.
The amount of stress and work increased so much for me that gradually I became addicted to instant coffee. Thus, for the last few years, I have been drinking coffee everyday and sometimes I drank three or four cups just to keep up with the work lead. As a result, I suffered a lot and a few months ago, I tried to give up on coffee and I went for a milder drink which is tea. Now, for the last four days I have been trying to give up even tea but now I understand, giving up any kind of addiction is difficult.
What happened to me was that in the last few months, after I woke up from sleep, I was tired and I had no energy to do any kind of work. As a result, I used to drink three or four cups of tea and could work but could not sleep until 6 or 7 am in the morning. Of course, I got habit of stress and also blogging is not a very good thing to do because it is full of pressure. As a result, I became addicted to drinking tea, having stress and thus I gradually lost my energy.
When things reached very bad level seven months ago, I understood that I had to do something for my health. I tried to come out from obesity and it was a very difficult battle for me. In this blog I am recording some of my efforts. For the last few days, I took off from blogging and from all the activities. So I could get some fresh. Now, the biggest challenge is to get out of drinking tea.
For the last two days, I have noticed a remarkable improvement in my sleeping habit. For example, last night I went to bed at 1:30 am and could sleep could sleep by 2:30 am. I can not remember when the last time I could sleep so early at night. However, the main problem now is that when I get up from bed then I miss drinking tea. Yesterday and today, all the time my heart was craving for a cup of tea.
I don’t think that tea is bad and it has some useful elements. However, getting addicted to anything is bad and taking excessive amount of tea and coffee can only harm your health.
Now, my main goal is to totally give up tea or coffee. The good thing is that I could really give up coffee nearly four or five months ago and another good thing is that I could totally give up drinking soft drinks like Coca Cola and Pepsi four months ago. As a result, I can feel that I am getting some normal condition back.
When a person is addicted to thinks like tea, coffee or coca cola then body changes to become abnormal. This thing happened to me and now I regret a lot for it. Well, to be honest with you, I had no choice and I had to try very hard to improve my career. I had to work in most abnormal conditions and there was hardly any choice for me. Things are better for me now and now I have a choice and that is why I am eager not to waste it.
Sometimes, in your life you may fall into similar kind of condition like me where you have to work inhumanly for whatever the reason is. Sometimes you have to do it for yourself; sometimes you have to do it for your family or for your career or marriage. It may happen to any of you and sometimes you may really feel that you are helpless and you have to just depend on coffee and just work hard against all the odds.

I really don’t want to say to you that you must leave this kind of addiction and don’t bother about your career. I know from my own experience that sometimes you really don’t have any choice and you have to just go for it. However, when things get better just try to remember that the addiction you get from over working and drinking coffee is not good. They only destroy your health and life and in the end shorten your life span.
You will become weak and tired at a very early age. So, just remember that when you have the choice don’t make any delay and try to come out of it. For me now, things are some better and I can really try for my health. This is a thing you must remember that when your condition is some better then don’t continue the bad habit.
Some people say to me that they just can not leave cigarette or coffee. In reply, I like to tell them that I understand it is very difficult to give up any addiction. It is almost impossible and really I am not that much hopeful that I can really continue to totally omit tea from my daily life. However, you must want it to happen. You must want it to give up the addiction.
Tea is a very mild thing and it is not that harmful. However, cigarette is very bad and it really destroys your life. More than anything smoking is an expensive habit and it can cost you a lot of money in your life. If you smoke just ten cigarettes a day then in one year you end up taking 3,650 sticks of cigarettes. Thus in 30 years you are taking more than 100-thoussand sticks of cigarettes. It is really something very bad and I hope that you can give it up.
From my owner experience, I have learnt one important thing. You should not try to give up any addiction just in a day. Then, you will feel very bad and you really can not give it up. I have been fighting to change my eating habit for the last four months continuously. Sometimes I suffered setbacks but again, I try it to go back and improve my life style. In the last few days, I have stopped any kind of working and I just focused on decreasing the amount of stress. Today, I wrote something in a blog at last.

Beef Curry, Obesity and bad Sleeping Habit

I was forced to eat beef curry for three days and as a result, my weight has increased by almost three kilograms in one week. Well, most probably, it increased by two kilogram not three. Anyway, it shows that meat is number one enemy of any kind of diet. Of course, I am perhaps in a hurry to decrease weight but it is needed because I have come back in the obesity level. I noticed that my health is become very bad and today I felt very weak.
 I had enough sleep for the last three days and I should feel fresh instead of becoming tired. However, obesity is bad and obesity is now attacking my health and mind both. So, I have to start walking and do some physical exercise but it has become difficult because of complicated sleeping habit.
It started almost four years ago when I started blogging and I used to work whole night. It was at that time needed but in the end, I caught up a very bad habit because when you are young then staying awake whole night is not a problem. I am not getting younger and I am four years older than what I was in 2006. This way, I have noticed that it is always very important to get good habit in life. If you destroy normal habit of life then you will have to suffer a lot. Now, the biggest challenge is to get back sleeping time and start working again.

Job vs Diet: A very Difficult Balancing Act

Today will be third day, I am eating meat. Well, it is not my fault as there are some problems in my home and it is a long story. The only good thing I am trying to do is to eat just one time a day and this way, despite eating meat my weight has not increased. Now, I have got even a bigger problem. I have to come back to working because for 6 months, I could not work good way and my blogs are suffering and income is really down with traffic. So, I understand that I have to start again full time work. The bad part is that because of not working for the last 6 months, it is becoming extremely difficult for me to come back to full time blogging. Although this is the thing I enjoy more than anything.
So, I feel that I have to increase my food intake to get more physical and mental strength to work full time. If I do so then I cannot lose weight. It is a very big dilemma for me. Today is the 42nd day and I have been able to keep my weight unchanged.

What are the alternatives to Soft or Cola Drinks?

I feel pity when I see a child of this generation because many of them are addicted to soft drinks like Coca cola and Pepsi. No doubt that soft drinks or Cola drinks are very tasty and in summer time, you feel really refreshing when you drink them. I was too much fan of it but after I started suffering from obesity I could try a lot and happily come out of this habit. Now, it is winter time and I am not worried for this summer because I have understood that lemon with water and ice can be a tasty alternative.
The biggest problem with Cola drinks is that they are affordable to almost everyone. However, they contain bad things and they contain more than anything too much sugar. As a result, drinking this kind of drinks will just make you fatter. I was thinking today that what can be the alternatives to this kind of drink.
First and best alternative I can think of is lemon juice with water and sugar and ice. You may wonder that why I am thinking of something that contains sugar. The only reason is that when you are taking sugar with fresh lemon juice and water and ice then this sugar is perhaps much more healthier than too much sugar in any kind of Cola drinks. Another good alternative can be coconut water which is sweet and nutritious. Water of coconut is pure and natural and totally organic food. Fortunately in my country, you can find fresh coconut and it is tasty. The only problem is that it is bit more expensive and you have to go out in the street to bring coconut every time. Still, this time I am going to try for it because it is much healthier than Coke or Pepsi.
The best alternative is no doubt fruit juice and you can mix it with ice. Apple, Orange juice and grape juice are very delicious. But the only problem is that in my country they are expensive. The local fruits that are some cheaper are not ideal for making juice and that is why in the end I think that water of coconut is the best alternative to me because it does not contain any sugar and it is 100% natural.
