Barcelona is going to host mid-table Real Murcia on their next league match. Barcelona currently seven points behind the league leader Real Madrid in the point table with 37 points. So, a win against Murcia will lessen the gap up to three points, though not permanently ahead of Real Madrid’s Sunday clash against Levante. On the other hand, Real Murcia occupies the ninth place in the league standing with 22 points to their credit. Barcelona can not take them lightly, as they held Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw at home two months ago. Moreover, this is the first home game for Barcelona since their defeat to Real Madrid at home. So, they must carry out some pressure in front of their home supporters.
