Liverpool Remains within 3 Points of Manchester United

With English Premier League gradually coming to end, it seems that Liverpool’s hope of winning its first league title in 20 years is fading away. Well, the Reds are playing at their top at this moment in premier league, picking up points approaching to them. In their recent premier league fixture, Liverpool thrashed West Ham United 3-0 away from home, and thus, increasing their point tally to 80 from 36 matches. However, still Liverpool’s hopes of retaining premier league title now lie on leader Manchester United’s performance in the coming weeks. Manchester United needs only 4 points to ensure their third successive triumph in English premier league.

Liverpool may not have qualified for the Champions league semi final, but the Reds have shown excellent consistency over the last few months in English premier league including a massive 4-1 victory at Manchester United. To be honest, it is less likely that Liverpool might win premier league this season, but one thing is for sure that the Reds have shown considerable consistency this season which was a big problem for Rafael Benitez side over the last few seasons. So, I think, Liverpool has improved a lot this season, and if they can hold on to this improvement, the league title might go to Anfield in 2010. Do you agree with me?
