Darren Fletcher Wants to Continue at Manchester United

Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher does not want to leave Old Trafford seeking for more first team football for the next season. Rather, the 24-year old midfielder is adamant to continue playing at Old Trafford looking to win more first team appearances next season. The Scottish international has been playing for Manchester United since 2001 and so far represented United in 107 domestic league matches hitting seven goals.

Darren Fletcher did not have enough first team football last season in the presence of some world class midfielders like Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Owen Hargreaves, Nani etc. So, it is pretty much sure that Fletcher’s struggle for first team football will continue in the next season as well. However, he takes it as a challenge and has no regret for that. The midfielder says that there is always competition at Manchester United and he wants to do his best from his part and holds his patience up and waits for the chance. Darren Fletcher is hopeful that he will able to play more matches next season. Meanwhile, English club Everton has kept their eyes on the midfielder and closely monitoring the situation. Now, let us see if Darren Fletcher can be able to impress Ferguson more and manage to win more appearances in the coming season. What do you think about it?
