Victory over West Ham, coupled with defeat for Chelsea at Newcastle on Monday, would effectively give the Red Devils a record 10th Premier League title. Mathematically Sir Alex Ferguson's side would need another point to retain the crown, but such is their superior goal difference over the Blues, it's worth one more point to them, and the celebrations would begin on Monday night, if that scenario is played out. Manchester United are on the brink of being hailed champions of England for the 17th time in their history.
So, you may consider that this is not a very important match for West Ham. However, I have to disagree with this matter because West Ham would really try to get something oat of this match and at least to a draw so that West Ham fans can be very happy. West Ham did not have a very good season this time. Being 10th in the league table will not make many fans happy. So, I am sure that West Ham players will try their best in this match.
As I have said earlier that this is a very important match for Manchester United and the good thing is that this will take place in their home stadium. This will give Manchester United a huge advantage. On this Tuesday, Manchester United defeated Barcelona by 1-0 and they are at the final of UEFA Champions League. This matter have surely made their players confident and they are hopeful that West Ham will not be a big challenge for them. However, you have to remember that Manchester United went to play against Chelsea and they lost the match and this caused a lot of unhappiness among the fans and clubs.

Manchester United and Chelsea are headed for a showdown in the Champions League final, but both clubs are also confident they can win their head-to-head race for the English title.
Level on points with two rounds to go, it's neck and neck in the sprint to the finish. The Premier League title won't be decided until the final day of the league season on May 11.
United hosts West Ham on Saturday (7:30 a.m. ET), but Chelsea doesn't play until Monday (11 a.m. ET) when it has a far more difficult game at Newcastle.
Manchester United and West Ham are playing against each other since a long time. After it became officially premier league, the two clubs, I think, have met 25 times and Manchester United has won 14 times, while West Ham has won just 4 times. So, the odds are heavily in favor of Manchester United and there is very little reason to doubt that they might draw or lose the match.

This is likely to be as a substitute. With Manchester United certain to pick up momentum from their qualification for the Champions League final, there seems little point in risking Rooney unduly at Old Trafford if that prevents him starting what might yet be a must-win game at Wigan.
Cristiano Ronaldo has asked his teammates and fans to focus on the championship of English premier league first. In fact, there are still 20 days for UEFA Champions League final so they should not think off Champions league at this moment too much. I think that Cristiano Ronaldo is right. If Manchester United can not win championship of English premier league then many fans will get disappointed and this is not good for the club at all.

"We want to do the Double. To do that we have to first win the title, then the Champions League.
