Chelsea vs Manchester United: Rooney Upbeat to Win Champions League Title

English striker Wayne Rooney is confident enough to win his first ever Champions League medal on 21^st May, 2008. Rooney has recently talked about the final match and he thinks that Manchester United is going to win the match in style. Moreover, he also pointed out the main difference between two clubs. To him, if Chelsea takes the lead first and starts playing defensively, it is very hard to come to the match, while, for Manchester United, it is all about their attacking football.

“I think maybe Chelsea are a little bit more defensive and if they go 1-0 up it’s difficult to get back at them,” he told Setanta Sports News.
“Whereas if we went 1-0 up we’d keep trying to go forward and get a second goal. I think that’s the only major difference.”

Wayne Rooney has also spoken of highly about his teammate and leading goal scorer of premier league Cristiano Ronaldo. He termed Ronaldo an unbelievable player. Manchester United has Argentine striker Carlos Tevez to bring out effective goals. Tevez had saved Manchester United twice in premier league with goals at the fag end of the matches that later was proven to be a crucial behind their league title this season.
