Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea Reached Champions League Quarter Final

Top three premier league clubs have made it to the quarter final of Champions League already. Arsenal’s 2-0 triumphed at San Siro over AC Milan has ensured quarter final berth for Arsenal. With goal less first leg draw, AC Milan has a bit edge over Arsenal and the match was seemingly going into extra time before Cesc Fabregas opened scoring, following by Emmanuel Adebayor’s extra time goal.

Manchester United also secured their quarter final ticket with a 1-0 victory over French champions Olympique Lyonnais thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s solitary goal at the Old Trafford. Chelsea also progressed to the quarter final by defeating Greek club Olympiacos 3-0 easily. Chelsea dominated throughout the match while Olympiacos made some rare attacks in Chelsea defense.

Now, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea all entered into the quarter final of Champions League. Liverpool will face Inter Milan in the second leg match of round of 16 tonight. It Liverpool follows the same feat of their three premier league rivals then a league will have four clubs in the Champions League final for the first time in the history.
