Juninho Stresses on Improving Lyonnais before Facing Manchester United

Olympique Lyonnais captain Juninho admitted their recent form was not up to the mark and insisted to improve their form ahead of the Champions League tie with Manchester United on Wednesday. The Brazilian international was full of praise about Manchester United indicating United’s 4-0 FA Cup triumph against Arsenal last weekend. He stressed on having a good result in the first leg match against Manchester United.

"We made lots of effort to play the last 16 games. We are not going to give up before the match. First of all we will try to achieve a good result in the first leg. First we’ll improve our football and then try to win.

Lyonnais is in their pursuit to win the seventh successive title of League 1 this season. They are currently at the top of domestic league, but they have just a point lead at the top. So, they can not relax at this moment. The recent performance of Lyonnais is not satisfactory at all. So, that must be worrisome Olympique Lyonnais as they host Manchester United on 20 February. Let us see if the French giants can capitalize on the home advantage against Manchester United in the first leg of last 16 in Champions League.
