AC Milan Coach Carlo Ancelotti Expecting Seedorf to Be Fit for the Champions League Clash with Arsenal

AC Milan is traveling to England to face Arsenal at the Emirates stadium in the first leg last 16 clash of Champions league. AC Milan was held to a goal less stalemate in their recent league clash with Parma, while Arsenal crashed out of FA Cup following a 0-4 smashing at Manchester United. Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti, however, is satisfied with his team’s performance against Parma. He said that AC Milan was in fourth place which was their target. He might have felt relief with his top gun Kaka returning to action with the Parma match following a knee injury. He is hopeful that Clarence Seedorf will also be available for the first team contention against Arsenal.

Tribalfootball reported:

"Seedorf will be there, I am certain, but if we do recover Pato in time then it will have to be at the last minute," said Ancelotti.

"That is quite a surprising result, but also a lovely one for me. I hope it will be the same on Wednesday night."

AC Milan has already been out of title race in Serie A with 21 points behind the league leader Inter Milan. So, it is obvious that their priority is now on Champions League. The defending champions look to win the title again this season. Reports have it that Pato is expected to catch the trip to Arsenal. So, AC Milan fans can be hopeful to see an interesting match at the Emirates stadium.
