US Open 2007: Venus Williams Gets into Semi Final

Venus Williams has got into the semi final round of US Open 2007. The 12^th seed, Venus defeated Serbian star Jelena Jankovic in their quarter final encounter. Venus Williams won the tight match by 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (7-4). Jelena Jankovic made some mistakes in the third set which resulted in losing for her. On the other hand, Venus was excellent throughout the match with some impressive services.
