US Open 2007: Novak Dokovic Reaches at the Semi Fi

Tournament favorite Novak Dokovic has reached at the semi final round of US Open 2007. This is going to be the third consecutive grand slam semi final for this Serbian tennis star as he also reached at the semi final round of French Open and Wimbledon this year. In the quarter final match, Novak Dokovic defeated Spaniard Carlos Moya by 6-4, 7-6 (7), 6-1. Dokovic was not so impressive in the first set. However, he came back winning the second set of the match and he won the last set very easily. Novak Dokovic will play against Spanish David Ferrer in his semi final match.

Canadian Press reported:
"I'm really happy that the people accept it in a positive way. I'm not trying to make fun of Maria or Rafa or anybody else," Djokovic said. "Just trying to make the people laugh and have a good time, you know, trying to enjoy the tennis on the court and off the court as well."

Besides his tennis success, he was also center of attention in the day because of his pretending the styles of Maria Sharapova and Rafael Nadal. Novak Dokovic continued it during the match to make people have fun. Actually, he has done it for the first time.
