Can Roberto Mancini convince Carlos Tevez to stay at Manchester City?

Millions of football fans around the world are eagerly waiting to hear that what decision Carlos Tevez is going to take. This Argentine football star has come to the centre of attraction after he made his transfer request claiming his relationship with ‘certain executives’ at the club has deteriorated beyond repair.

However, Manchester City boss, Roberto Mancini, is trying his best to convince Carlos Tevez and stay at his club. He hopes that Tevez will stay at the club and if everything goes well then Tevez will be picked for Monday’s game with Everton. But it is not sure. The big question is that if Tevez will play on Monday’s game.

Tevez was not part of the team that traveled to Italy for Thursday's Europa League that ended in a 1-1 draw with Juventus. However, Tevez has stated that he will continue to play for the club until any transfer is agreed. Despite such statement, Roberto Mancini hopes that Tevez will continue to play and score for his club.

As a five year contract with Manchester City, the 26-year-old player will have to play until 2014. He has still more than 3 years left into a five-year contract. It has been less than 17 months into a five-year contract that he has been playing for Man City, but the former Boca Juniors, Corinthians and West Ham forward asked to leave. Is it the only reason that his club has failed to make its place in the Champions League?

However, Roberto Mancini will talk with Man City captain face to face to convince him to stay at the club. No doubt, the absence of Carlos Tevez will make the club much weaker.
