Bayern Munich Preparing a January Move for Charles N'Zogbia

Bayern Munich is reportedly planning a swoop for Wigan Athletic winger Charles N'Zogbia. The German side is said to be ready for a £9 million bid for the France international in the January transfer window.

N'Zogbia, who joined Wigan in January 2009 for £6 million from Newcastle United, was Wigan’s best player last season, scoring 7 goals in 39 matches.

Birmingham City tried to acquire his service this summer and even agreed a deal worth around £10 million with Wigan, but the deal finally fell through due to disagreement between the player and City over the weekly salary.

However, reports available in the media suggest that Bayern Munich is ready to offer him £50,000 a week salary that is most likely to match N'Zogbia’s demand.

The 24-year-old is a highly skilled player who has recently earned his first international call up. He also represented France at U-21 level. A left winger, N'Zogbia can also play as a left back or as a creative midfielder.

Bayern Munich’s interest in Charles N'Zogbia is still nothing but a rumor, but given his skill and ability, there is every possibility the German giants can make a January bid for the Frenchman who himself is also interested to play for a bigger side.
