Spice launched the M-6 Sports phone in India at Rs. 4,499

We have heard the name of different type of mobile phones, such as; gaming phones, messaging phones, camera phones etc, but for the first time, we are going to see different type of phone that is named sports phone. Indian handset maker, Spice, launched its latest mobile phone which is kown as the M-6 or Sports Phone. Perhaps it is going to be the first sports themed phone made by an Indian manufacturer.

The M-6 Sports will be a suitable handset for sports lover as it comes with a dedicated ‘Sports Zone’ including Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Tennis and Yahoo Formula 1.

However, comapre its other features with another phone it has no difference. Other features of this phone are dual SIM, 2.2 QVGA TFT screen with 262k colors, 1.3 megapixel camera. The big advantage of this mobile phone is that its memory can be expanded upto 4GB. With the use of Stereo Bluetooth, WAP and GPRS, users can stay connected all the time.

It also supports social networking sties like Facebook, Yahoo and Nimbuzz. Opera Mini 4 is preinstalled on the phone thanks to Opera’s tie up with Spice. Video sharing vuclip has also been included in this phone set. It has 1000 mAH battery that supports a talk time of 5 hours.

It can be used as an alternative music phone because it has included an MP3 audio player and FM radio with recording.

The price of this phone is only Rs 4,499 which is really unthinkable for sports phone.
