Sony Ericsson launches 3 new models including entry-level 3G phone

Well known mobile phone brand, Sony Ericsson, has recently unveiled its three new models of mobile phones: Xperia-X8, Yendo and Cedar. It is expected to be available in the market from September. These are perhaps the best offers from Sony Ericsson that comes with an amalgamation of communication and entertainment by fusing together best quality touchscreen experience.

Android-based smartphone, Xperia-X8, comes with a 3-inch HVGA touchscreen which enhance its view with 320 x 480 pixels. This accelerometer and scratch resistance features are capable of supporting 16 million colors.

It also includes a 3.2 megapixel camera, FM radio, support for video streaming and music player with PlayNow and TrackID. It will also provide full Web browser. Social networking site can be easily accessible through Timescape.

It will run on 600MHz processor and Google Android OS 1.6. It will also offer the connectivity of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It has 128MB of internal memory and a 2GB microSD card. The memory can be expandable up to 16GB.

Yendo is the first full touchscreen phone from Sony Ericsson. Featuring four corner touch user interface (UI), it comes with 2 megapixel camera that has 4X digital zoom. It also includes FM radio, music player, walkman player, MP3/AAC tones and a Bluetooth A2DP stereo as a music feature phone.

Yendo has a 2.6-inch TFT screen with 320 X 420 pixel resolution. Other features are a 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth, micro USB connector, USB mass storage and modem.

Cedar is an entry-level 3G phone. Featuring Widget Manager 2.0, it offers quick access to social networking site. With this offer, users can easily be connected on their social networking site. It also has a 2.2-inch display, a 2 megapixel camera and 3.5mm headphone jack. Its battery will provide 4 hours of talktime on 3G network.
