Tim Nielsen has been reappointed as Australia coach

Tim Nielsen will coach the Australian national cricket team until the end of the 2013 Ashes series in England as he has been reappointed by Australia. This reappointment has given him an opportunity to overcome his recent depression in fortunes. It seems that Australia keeps faith in the current coach, Tim Nielsen.

According to the team Australia, Tim Nielsen took the charge of coaching the Australian cricket in 2007. It was a challenging task for him as many great players including Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath took retirement from cricket and the team Australia lost its top test ranking.

Leading Australian cricket team was not an easy task for him. He had to go through amidst a lot of pressure to lead new look Australia team. He has done his job successfully and played an important role working closely with Captain Ricky Ponting, team leadership, national players and team management.

He said that he was excited about the opportunity to build a new generation of Australian players.

The upcoming Ashes series has given him an opportunity to regain the trophy and his pride. The five-Test Ashes series will start in Brisbane on 25 November. Before the start of the Ashes series, Australia will play two tests and three ODIs in India in October.
