Thor movie trailer: See the summer block buster 2011

After bringing Iron Man to life, Marvel Comics is all ready to present Thor, the famous Viking god of thunder. During the San Diego Comic Con 2010, the movie trailer of Thor was premiered before fans. Thor is going to hit the theatres on May 2011. The movie will be in 3D.

Australian actor, Chris Hemsworth will be seen playing Thor. Other major actors are Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Ray Stevenson, Stellan SkarsgÄrd, Idris Elba, Rene Russo, Clark Gregg and Jaimie Alexander. The movie is directed by Kenneth Branagh and produced by Kevin Feige.

Thor, arrogant and powerful warrior, started an ancient war because of his reckless actions. As punishment, he had been banished from Asgard. Thor lives within humans and understands what it takes to be a true hero. Then he fights against one of the deadliest villains of Asgard who sends his darkest forces to conquer earth.

Kenneth Branagh and Kevin Fiege, Chief, Marvel Studios, chose 25-year old Hemsworth. Initially, they were not ready to give him the role, but then after looking at others they finally landed with the actor.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Chris Hemsworth, said that there are so many different version of the comic books and the movie makers actually bonded few of them to create the character but at the end, they remained true to the original story.
