Arsene Wenger: Cesc Fabregas Wont Play Until Early September

There is no in to the speculation about Cesc Fabregas staying or leaving Arsenal. Barcelona wants a player desperately and Arsenal does not want to sale him. This drama has been going on for quite a long time and now perhaps because of the announcement of Arsene Wenger that Fabregas will not feature until the first weak of September.
It should be noted here that the transfer window will close on 31st August and Wenger is saying that he has given rest to Fabregas. Of course Wenger is not saying that the decision has anything to do with the closing of transfer window but it is more related to the physical condition of the player.
Wenger said, "Physically, it is an advantage when you don't play at the World Cup. And mentally, when you play in the World Cup final on 11 July, it is difficult to come back with complete recovery before the end of August."

Fabregas played in World Cup football and Spain won the championship this time. So, Wenger thinks that Fabregas is still physically exhausted and he needs enough rest. The same can be said about Robin van Persie who also played in the final match for Holland
