Javier Mascherano Eyeing on Inter Milan Move

Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano is now desperate to move to Inter Milan this summer. Inter Milan manager Rafael Benitez is reportedly highly interested to reunite his former Liverpool man at San Siro.

Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson has tried to convince the Argentina captain to stay at Anfield, but it looks apparent that Javier Mascherano is keen to move away from the Merseyside club.

Liverpool is currently going though a financial problem and can not offer Champions League football this summer following their failure to clinch a top four finish last season. So, a number of key players have been linked with other European clubs.

Liverpool boss Hodgson has recently signed free agent Joe Cole in his attempt to prove to his star players like captain Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres that the Reds would make serious bid for the Premier League title next season. It looks Gerrard and Torres, who earned attention from Real Madrid and Chelsea respectively, would now decide to stay.

However, still it seems Javier Mascherano would not be convinced to stay and Hodgson has already realized it. So, the manager is now reportedly holding out for £30 million, £10 million more than what Inter Milan is ready to pay, in his attempt to make some quick cash in.

Now, it is clear that Inter Milan is going to launch an official bid for the Argentina international in a week and negotiations between the two clubs would begin thereafter.
