Sol Campbell Disappointed at not being Named in England World Cup Squad

Former England captain Sol Campbell has revealed his disappointment at not being considered for England’s world cup squad despite having a good season with Arsenal in premier league and Champions league. The veteran defender pointed out that his age was not an issue to get a place in the squad for manager Fabio Capello as he called up Jamie Carragher. According to Campbell, this is enough to prove that Capello does not like him as a player.

No doubt, Sol Campbell made an excellent come back to premier league. The defender started the season with League Two club Notts County before joining Arsenal in the winter transfer window. Many times during the second half of the season, he appeared as a savior to the North London club.
