Bad season for English Clubs in Europe

After the domination of last few seasons of English clubs in UEFA Champions League, this season, there is not even a single club from England in semi-final. Of course, in the quarter final there were two clubs Arsenal and Manchester United and both of them lost. It shows that England clubs are becoming some weak. I think that Liverpool is the best example of England club. Both Liverpool and Manchester United are suffering financial burdens and they can not afford to get top players like Cristiano Ronaldo anymore. The future looks very bright for Arsenal as they are gradually recovering from the financial stress that they suffered from making the Emirates Stadium. Chelsea is consolidating its position.
Of course, the things are not that bright for the Spanish club either. This time Real Madrid crashed out quite early. Barcelona is now on course to win the Champions League for the second successive season. If they can do so then I am sure that Lionel Messi will again become the best player of the world. Of course, there is the world cup football coming. So, many people are waiting to see how Messi does in World Cup.
