Arsenal Win 3-1 Against Burnley: 6 March 2010

In the end, Arsenal won by just 3-1 against Burnley but they should have scored at lest another 4-6 goals more. Bendtner himself missed 4 easy chances and he is the main villain to the fans today. If he could score then Arsenal would have gone top on the point table. It was more or less a one sided match in which the Gunners totally dominated from the first minute until the last. Captain Fabregas scored the first goal on 34 minute. It was a lovely pass from Nasri. After scoring this goal, Fabregas was taken out of the field by coach Wenger as he looked some injured. It is not clear what kind of injury he suffered and how long he might be out of action.
The first half ended by 1-0 to Arsenal. In the second half Arsenal missed again a number of opportunities. This time, Arsehvin joined Bendtner in missing more opportunities. Nugent equalized the score in the 50th minute but Walcott scored a goal in 60 minute. Then Arsenal missed a number of opportunities for the rest of the match. There was a few scary moments for them but Burnley never looked strong enough to get the second goal.In the dying seconds, Arshevin scored the third goal.
This win means Arsenal is now level with the league Chelsea in point table.
