Arsene Wenger Thankful to Sir Alex Ferguson

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has always faced a hostile reception at Old Trafford from Manchester United fans. Red Devils fans throw obscene and abusive words towards him whenever he arrives at Old Trafford. Recently, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has requested United fans not to repeat the same thing next time when Arsenal visits Old Trafford. Wenger has been also very quick to thank his United counterpart for his intervention in the matter.

Arsene Wenger is now grateful for what Ferguson has done on the regard, but has also revealed that he did not give much thought to this matter. Wenger has also added that he has no idea why he always faces this kind of receition at the Old Trafford. He guesses may be his ‘persistence’ at Manchester United’s home ground is the reason behind the anger of Manchester United fans.
