With the 1-0 win, Argentina has reached the world cup 2010 finals directly. Uruguay now has to play in the play-off game against either Honduras or Costa Rica.



Uruguay has nothing to worry actually, because Ecuador lost to Chile 1-0. So, they can still reach the world cup finals next year by winning the play-off game against the fourth placed team of North American qualifying zone.
