Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Florida has started selling advanced tickets for the 2009 Sandestin Wine Festival events, one of the most awaited events of the year on the Florida Gulf Coast. The wine festival, which is going to take place at The Village of Baytowne Wharf, will start on April 24, 2009, and finish on April 26, 2009. The resort is going to organize special events and it is offering various packages. Market Watch reports:

Wine novices are able to learn more about wines and sample from a comprehensive selection including the finest appellations from all major producing countries in all varieties, styles and price ranges. Wine aficionados enjoy meeting winemakers, asking detailed questions and acquiring hard-to-get selections.

People, who are going to buy Sandestin Wine Festival Accomodations Package, are going to enjoy an exclusive evening reception in Tupelo Courtyard with live music. The ceremony will preview wines that will feature at the Grand Wine Tasting in the next two days. The vintners will also remain present to provide necessary insights on how they created their prize winning wines.

In the next two days, more than 600 domestic and international wines are going to be featured at the Grand Wine Tastings. In addition, representatives from more than 80 vineyards will be present in the ceremony.
