Australian wonder boy Bernard Tomic has so far been a wonder kid in tennis circuit, but not anymore. The 16-year-old Australian tennis player is going to make his senior debut at the upcoming Brisbane International which kicks of this week as he received a wildcard for the tournament. The winner of 2008 Australian Open junior title, Tomic could earn a wildcard for this year’s Australian Open senior tournament and that is what Australian tennis fans are waiting for. Bernard Tomic has already come under the limelight and many think he is going to be next great hope for Australian tennis.
Former Australian world no. 1 Patrick Rafter thinks that Tomic has to go though a number of tough years and has to learn to play against big players. Rafter also thinks that it would be too early to expect a lot from Tomic. Now, let us see if Bernard Tomic can win a wildcard entry to the Australian Open 2009 senior’s event.
