Manchester United needs just a point from the game to win the premier league title and you might think that Manchester United would play for a draw. However, manager Sir Alex Ferguson has already indicated that it would be dangerous if his boys would go for a draw. Rather, Ferguson has said that Manchester United would have to play for a win and he is also wary of Arsenal destroying their party at Old Trafford. Manchester United captain Rio Ferdinand may not be able to take part in the match due to his calf injury, but he has already warned his teammates not to show any kind of complacency, given their recent big margin victory against Arsenal in the Champions League semi final.

Arsenal manager Arsenal Manager, who does not think that Arsenal has had a bad season, is full of praise regarding Manchester United and has said that Manchester United deserves the premier league title as they are the best in the league at this moment. Well, it does not mean that he would be happy to see United celebrating their hat-trick premier league title after the match against his team.

Manchester United is leading the point table with 86 points from 36 matches, 6 points ahead of second placed Liverpool. That means, Red Devils have 2 matches in hand to take the cherished 1 point. So, even if they can not win the important point from Arsenal game, they could go for it in the last match against Hull City. However, I am sure that Manchester United players would not like to wait until Hull City game to start their celebration. That is what, Wenger boys would like to do when they lock horn their big-four rivals.

Arsenal players are expected to take a revenge following their humiliating 4-1 defeat in the second leg Champions league semi final. They have got to prove that Arsenal is not as weak as the score-line of the second leg semi final shows. The good news for Arsenal is that Russian midfielder Andrei Arshavin is back to the squad after missing the 4-1 defeat to Chelsea last week with flu. Now that, Arshavin is back in to the squad, Arsenal midfield is expected to be stronger and more organized against Manchester United. However, Arsenal has a number of injury casualties in Manuel Almunia, Gael Clichy, William Gallas, Tomas Rosicky and Eduardo who all are currently injured out.

For Manchester United, the biggest injury woe is Rio Ferdinand who is unavailable with his calf problem. Defender Wes Brown is most likely to miss the rest of the season with his foot injury. Ryan Giggs was used as a second half substitute against Wigan Athletic, while Darren Fletcher sat out of the Wigan match. Now, both the players are expected to start against Arsenal. So, it is good news for Manchester United who would like to take any risk with their star players ahead of 27th May’s Champions League final.

Manchester United seems to be favorite against Arsenal, given their recent form and home advantage. With Andrei Arshavin back into Arsenal squad, the Gunners might appear with some strong challenge for Manchester United. Moreover, Arsene Wenger boys are always considered to be a strong side that every other club would like to avoid because the Gunners are always full of confident and pose a threat for the opposition teams. I just hope to see an exciting match between two of the biggest rivals of English Premier League.
