England may Host Pakistan vs Australia Test Series in 2010

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is now in talks with England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on England as a neutral cricket venue for Pakistan’s home cricket series. England is the most likely venue for Pakistan’s home series against Australia. Pakistan and Australia took part in a five match ODI series recent in UAE and the two teams are all set to face each other in a two-match test series as well as a two-match twenty20 series. Though England has not been fixed as the venue of the series, PCB is talking with ECB as well as CA (Cricket Australia).

Moreover, PCB is also talking to ECB regarding a possible full-fledged series against England next year. It has been reported that Pakistan might replace West Indies as the opponent of England next year because West Indies is now touring England in a two-match test series, replacing Sri Lanka. So, West Indies’ scheduled tour to England next year may not happen. In stead, Pakistan might face England in a four-match test series, five ODIs and two twenty20 internationals.
