Imran Khan Sees Foreign Link in Lahore Attack on Cricketers

You already know that cricket world is now raving about the recent terror assault on Sri Lankan cricket team and ICC umpires and match officials near the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Many people are considering it a big blow for Pakistan cricket as no international team would like to visit Pakistan in the near future.

Imran Khan, Pakistan politician and former captain of Pakistan Cricket team, thinks that there is a foreign element in the brutal terror attack and he points out that India, Afghanistan or the Tamil Tigers could be behind this attack. Internet edition of The Times of London published an interview of Imran Khan where the former cricket great has expressed his fear about the future of Pakistan and its cricket. Mr. Khan has also added that the motive of the attack was to damage Pakistan and end its cricket. However, Imran Khan has also blamed Pakistan government for security lapses.
