Inspired Tottenham Hotspur Taking on Leader Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur has earned 4 points from 2 matches since the arrival of new coach Harry Redknapp and the club fans are now hoping for a revival in their form. Tottenham Hotspur has made one of the worst ever start to premier league as they are currently at the bottom of league table with only 6 points from the opening 10 games. Redknapp’s side showed enough mental strength and confidence to draw against Arsenal 4-4 thanks to two injury time goals.

Redknapp thinks he can stay at the North London club for a long term, but all depend on the amount of success he can bring out for the club. Though Tottenham’s Brazilian goalkeeper Gomes made a number of mistakes, Redkhapp believes he possesses world class talent. After the gallant show against arch rivals Arsenal, now Tottenham Hotspur has to face Liverpool today evening at home and this is another big game for the spurs.

Captain Ledley King is expected to be fit for the Liverpool showdown after recovering from his knee injury. The manager thinks King could make an effective centre half partnership with Jonathan Woodgate in the team. Harry Redknapp termed the draw wit Arsenal as a win as his side needed come back from 4-2 deficit within two minutes. About Liverpool team, Redknapp feels the Reds are a good all round team with home-grown players like Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher.

Well, Tottenham Hotspur made a confidence booster come back against Arsenal and this would definitely inspire them in the league run, but Tottenham is still at the bottom of the table after 10 games. So, in order to avoid relegation, they have to show some impressive form against the big teams like Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United like they did against Arsenal. Now, let us see if Tottenham Hotspur can manage at least a point from the Liverpool game in what it would be another boost in the bid to ensure their place in the premier league next season. That is what every Tottenham Hotspur fans are hoping for now.
