Arsene Wenger Adamant to Keep Arsenal in the Title Race

Arsenal drew with Tottenham Hotspur 4-4 in a hard-fought North London derby on Wednesday after conceding two goals in the last two minutes of the match. The Gunners were leading 4-2 after 90 minutes and it seemed Arsenal was going to pick up three pints easily, but two injury time strikes from Tottenham Hotspur left Arsenal with one point from the match. With this draw, Arsenal has further dropped points in their bid to retain the premier league title this season. Arsenal fans as well as the players could not believe the score line and were frustrated by the result against their cross town rivals.

However, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger still sees hope in their title bid and is hopeful Arsenal will bounce back strongly. Though he admitted that Arsenal players could not believe the result of the match and were disappointed with this, Wenger thinks his players are united and they want to be winner.

Goal.com reported:

"We were all very disappointed [after the Tottenham game],” he said to the club's official website. “The mood in the dressing room was of disbelief and frustration. But the players are united, passionate and want to win.

"They are in this together, they want to be winners together. We have a long way to go and we are all determined to show that we can fight for this title together.”

"Yes it's not all bad but it is disappointing. Our run is going on and I would say the future of our season lies in how much we learn from games like that.

"We have fantastic potential but the future of the team is about what we do with that potential. We want to address that very quickly and respond."

Arsenal lost two games and drew twice in their opening 10 games of this season and they are currently in the 3rd position in league table with 20 points, six points clear of leader Liverpool in the league table. Arsenal has got off to a mixed start to the season. Sometimes Arsenal showed their imperious form, while they looked fragile sometimes. There is no doubt, Arsenal must show consistency in their performance if they want them to keep in the title race.
