Manchester United Pulled off Emphatic 4-0 Victory over West Bromwich as Wayne Rooney Continues His Dominating Form

Wayne Rooney has continued his scoring form in Manchester United’s 4-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday night. With this victory, Manchester United has further risen up the premier league table and the Red Devils are now at the 4th place in the league standing with 14 points from 7 matches. However, it was Rooney’s ominous form that helped Untied achieve an emphatic victory over the newly promoted West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich frustrated Manchester United in the first half, keeping the score 0-0. However, the defending champions got their rhythm back in the second half with Rooney opened scoring in the 56th minute before Cristiano Ronal and Dimitar Berbatov found net within 15 minutes. Nani finished scoring in the final minute of the game. With this goal, Rooney continues his scoring form for the fifth successive game and has taken his goal tally to 8 in the last six matches for his country and club.

No doubt, this victory ensures United’s steady progress in the point table after a shaky start to the season. They are still six points behind leader Chelsea and Liverpool with a match at hand. The good thing for Manchester United fans is that all of the key players of Sir Alex Ferguson are now in good form. Ronaldo is gradually getting back his prime form, while Rooney has been in clinical form. Summer signing Berbatov has also found his scoring form back, while Tevez has remained a player whom Ferguson can rely on at any situation of the match.
