Arsene Wenger Thanks Outgoing Alexander Hleb

Earlier, I wrote about the transfer news of Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb to Spanish giant Barcelona. However, it did not make Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger upset; rather the coach has wished Hleb all the best in future. On a £11.9 million initial transfer deal, Arsenal has been agreed to let the midfielder join the Catalan side.

Arsenal manager Wenger has thanked the midfielder for his contribution to the North London club during his three-year spell. He moved to Arsenal from VfB Stuttgart in 2005 and since then played 89 domestic matches for Arsenal, netting 7 goals to his credit. The coach has also added that Alexander Hleb played a significant role in during his time at the club. Everyone at Arsenal wishes Alexander Hleb best of luck for the future, Wenger has said.

Alexander Hleb improved his game and skill a lot during his time at Arsenal and undoubtedly has been the better player now than he was three years back while joining the North London club.
