IPL Chennai and Punjab Teams Merchandises Go on Sale Online

You know that Indian Cricket League is now getting huge response from the cricket loving Indian fans. To some extent, IPL’s popularity has affected movie business and television programs in the country. People have found IPL matches worthy enough to miss a fast paced action thriller movie as IPL’s Twenty20 matches are fast paced and full of entertainment.

To make some quick cash in using the popularity of IPL matches, recently two IPL teams: Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab- have introduced team merchandise online. Glasses, mugs, badges and some other products with team logos sealed on the merchandises. These products are now available on online shopping sit eBay. The products will also go on sale in retail stores under the brand name of Hot Mugs.

Economictimes reported:

"We are delighted to partner with Hot Muggs to power the sale of these exquisite IPL merchandise as part of eBay's attempt to cater to the wide interests of its online shoppers. We are sure true cricket fans will be thrilled to buy and own the merchandise at great prices," Deepa Thomas, Senior Manager for Pop Culture, eBay India said in a statement.
While a red coffee mug featuring some of the Kings XI Punjab players including Yuvraj Singh, Brett Lee, Irfan Pathan and Sreesanth would be available for Rs 250, mugs having Chennai Super Kings would be on sale for Rs 250 and Rs 300, respectively.

The way IPL is getting popularity, it seems that Chennai and Punjab will receive huge response from the cricket fans and if they become financially successful then the other IPL teams would come up with their merchandises. Now, let us see if IPL continue attracting cricket loving fans.
