Premier League is now a Four-Horse Race as Liverpool Bounced Back

English premier league title race of this season seems to be more competitive now. It has been reported many times over the few weeks that Liverpool has been out of title race and it is now a three-horse race with the top three clubs- Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea. However, at the moment, it is well clear that Liverpool is also in the race and it is very possible to see Gerrard lift the premier league trophy at the end of the season.

Well, you may argue with me on it, but the way Liverpool outclassed their opponents in the last two premier league fixtures moving up within 9 points of the leaders Arsenal with playing a match more, the top three clubs have no other options open to choose except taking Liverpool into consideration.

Liverpool projected two emphatic premier league victories against West Ham United and Newcastle United. The all reds scored seven goals without conceding one in the two matches. Liverpool defeated Newcastle United 3-0 recently thanks to Jermaine Pennant and Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard scoring for the hosts. With this victory, Liverpool is now just two points behind the third-placed Chelsea. Considering Arsenal’s lackluster performance of late in premier league and the inconsistent performance of Manchester United, I am sure Liverpool still has chance in the title race. However, to win the title, Liverpool has to build on these successes and continue their imperious form in the matches to come. Most importantly, they have to come out of their inconsistent performance that they have been showing consistently so far this season in premier league.
