Fabio Capello’s Warning for Inter Milan ahead of Liverpool Clash

England coach Fabio Capello recently warned Inter Milan regarding Liverpool’s imperious form of late. Indicating the impressive form of Liverpool, Capello also said Inter Milan must be very careful not to concede a goal. Actually, Liverpool is going into the game holding a 2-0 aggregate from the first leg. So, a goal in favor of Liverpool at the second leg match tonight would require Inter Milan four goals to get the ticket of quarter final of Champions League.

So, Inter Milan has to overturn the 0-2 deficit as well as ensure conceding no goal in the match. Considering the recently form of Liverpool including three big margin victories, the task seems to very tough for Inter Milan, even though they are playing at their home ground.

Times Online reported:

"Liverpool are in good form," Capello, the England manager, said. "I watched them play on Saturday and they have taken three consecutive positive results, which has given them a boost in confidence.

"Inter will have to be careful not to concede a goal and not to be hit by their rival's counter-attacks because when Liverpool are given space they are lethal."

It is true that Liverpool is impressive form as they hit 10 goals in their last three premier league matches with conceding just a goal. Three English clubs: Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have already confirmed their place in the quarter final of Champions League. So, Liverpool would be fourth English club to get into the quarter final of Champions League, for the first time in the history of Champions League.

Given the excellent performance of premier league clubs in Europe, Fabio Capello termed it a rich tournament where lots of star players are participating. I think, day by day English premier league clubs are dominating with greater extent in the European tournaments, which is of course a good sign of English football.
