Manchester United Back on Top in the Premier League

Manchester United has been back on the top of premier league point table with the 2-0 victory over Portsmouth. Manchester United is now ahead of Arsenal in the league standing on goal difference. Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice for Manchester United, the last one being the 25-yeard superb free kick. Earlier, Arsenal defeated Newcastle United for the second time within four days by the same 3-0 score line, which led them to be back on the top.

With these two goals, Cristiano Ronaldo has taken his tally of goals to 27 this season. He is now the highest scorer of premier league with scoring 19 times so far this season. It is big news for the Manchester United fans that the Portuguese midfielder has been in an imperious form which will lead Manchester United to defend the premier league title this season.
