Frank Lampard Expected to Come Back in the Liverpool Clash

Frank Lampard is expected to be back in action with Chelsea’s upcoming premier league home match against Liverpool. The English midfielder has been out of action for a long time and missed some of his club’s crucial matches in the last few months. Lampard ahs not played any match in 2008 so far. However, he may not be featured in the starting line up. Rather, he would be among the substitutes and might come to the field for sometime. However, even that would be a huge boost for his side as the Chelsea fans are eagerly waiting their vice captain in action against Liverpool on Sunday.

Chelseapies reported:

Frank's timing is perfect, as a fresh Lampard suddenly bursting from the midfield will be like The Toad having a new world class signing at the most crucial time of the season….

If he does make it, Frank will be making the 550th club career appearance of his career (West Ham, Swansea and Chelsea). If he scores it'll be his century for for Chelsea. Just imagine him getting that against Liverpool!

It would be the grand occasion for Lampard. As the deputy of injured captain John Terry, Lampard would lead his side if he is brought on in the match. I hope, the midfielder will be able to come back in action against Liverpool. Chelsea is in third place in the league table and still in the title race. So, the come back of Lampard would just give a boost to their title hope this season.
