Peter Crouch Confident to Win over Chelsea

Liverpool forward Peter Crouch has reveled that Liverpool would can win at Stamford Bridge when his club takes on home side Chelsea in a mouth watering high profile match of premier league. The match is expected to be very important for both sides. Crouch has indicated their last weekend victory over bottom club Sunderland saying that the victory boosted up their confidence level ahead of the high profile clash at Chelsea next weekend.

Crouch has also added that Liverpool won over Chelsea in big matches and is confident to repeat the same thing again. The English striker has been full of confidence while talking on the match.

Breakingnews reported:

Crouch, sent off in his last visit to Chelsea in the Carling Cup fifth round in December, said: “It’s a big game next for us at Chelsea, and we were more interested in taking the points against Sunderland to give us confidence for the next match at Stamford Bridge.

“We will go into that game with more confidence now. We are good enough to beat Chelsea, we have done it before and I am sure we can do it again although it will be a difficult game.

I think, Liverpool has almost out of the title race this season as they are currently 17 points behind the league leader Arsenal, with a match at hand. So, finishing the season in the fourth place is now a logical goal for Liverpool which will ensure their place in the Champions League. Peter Crouch will have to play a big role in Liverpool’s forthcoming important matches as his fellow striker Fernando Torres has been out of action with a hamstring injury and will definitely miss the trip to Chelsea.
