Florent Malouda Confident Over Chelsea’s Chance to win the League Title

Chelsea is now in the third place of the league point table with eight points behind the leader Arsenal. There are 12 matches still to go this season and no doubt, Chelsea is still very much in the title race. Added to that, their African stars are coming back and the injured players like Terry on the way to be back in action. After reeling off nine consecutive victories, Chelsea has been held to draws in their last two league ties, the last one being the Liverpool match.

However, Chelsea’s Florent Malouda is confident to lift the league title this season. He said that Chelsea needed to be focused on the league. Chelsea has the chance to win all three domestic competitions as they are still active in FA Cup and Carling Cup. Regarding Chelsea’s chance being active all three competition, Florent Malouda said that Chelsea was a good team who always tried to win even game.

Goal.com reported:

"We have to remain focused on the league," said Malouda, who doesn't believe the Blues can focus solely on Cup competitions despite still being in three of them.

"You can't choose which competition to win. We are a good team and we set a target to win every game. All the top clubs look for that. You are happy to win and very angry when you drop points. That is your motivation."

I agree with Florent Malouda on Chelsea’s chance to win the league title. Though it is true that Chelsea has to face string challenges, but they can win it considering the face that they are getting their key players back in the coming weeks. So, it is true that Chelsea has the ability to stave off the challenges. I think, Chelsea has to capitalize the chances in order to get the title back.
