Arsenal and Blackburn Rovers are going to face each other within few hours at the Arsenal home ground Emirates stadium. Arsenal has a chance to open up a lead of five points at the top of the league point table. With Manchester United losing to Manchester City and Chelsea making a draw against Liverpool, it is now down to Arsenal to pick up three points from their premier league match against Blackburn Rovers.

Both sides have a number of injured players who will miss today’s match. In particular, defense of the both sides might be affected badly by injury blow. Denilson, Tomas Rosicky, Abou Diaby and Robin van Persie are sidelined, that left Arsenal to face a real problem in such a crucial stage of the season.

Blackburn Rovers has not lost any of their last seven matches in the league with last three being drawn. However, they have some injury woes as well including Captain Ryan Nelsen. They are suffering with a number of players are now in suspension. Christopher Samba, David Dunn and Morten Gamst Pedersen are going to miss the trip to Arsenal because of their suspension.
