Arsenal Missing Some Front Line Players in the FA Cup Tie with Manchester United

Arsenal is facing a number of injury problems as they are heading into the mouth watering FA Cup match against Manchester United. Arsenal misses many of their first team players from the trip to Old Trafford. The only good news is that two Ivorian players Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue have been recalled ahead of the FA Cup fifth round tie with Manchester United. They have just been back in Arsenal after completing their international duty in African Nations Cup 2008. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger had not other alternative as he is facing a tough time with losing some of the front line players.

Telegraph reported:

The pair last played for Arsenal in the 2-0 third-round win at Burnley in early January but their availability comes at a timely juncture as left-back Gael Clichy is likely to be ruled out with a hamstring problem while right-back Bacary Sagna is a doubt due to personal reasons.

Arsene Wenger is also without goalkeeper Manuel Almunia, still suffering from illness, so Jens Lehmann continues to deputise, while Philippe Senderos - with thigh and knee problems - remains a doubt and Johan Djourou is out with a groin strain.

I think, Arsenal is likely to be affected with a window row as they are missing a number of first team players. However, Arsenal has a balanced side and the players are full of rhythm. As the club does not have any mega stars the youngster are always motivated to win a place in the first team. So, those who will replace the injured players will try their best to win a regular place in the starting line up showing impressive performances.
