Emmanuel Adebayor Spoken of Highly by Cesc Fabregas

If you are one of those who saw no hopes for Arsenal this season since Thierry Henry’s move to Barcelona, then you must know that Emmanuel Adebayor has played a big role to prove you wrong. Yes, the Togolese striker has been instrumental in Arsenal’s impressive run this season in the premier league as they are sharing the top place with Manchester United with equal 57 points.

Team mate Cesc Fabregas has recently spoken highly of Emmanuel Adebayor. To him, Adebayor is one of the best strikers at this moment. Pointing out his good first touch and good technique, Fabregas has said that Adebayor has taken the chance given and is capable to learn. He has also added that Arsenal could not live without Adebayor right now. The Togolese marksman is now the leading goal scorer for Arsenal this season with 19 goals including 16 league goals. He stands second to Cristiano Ronaldo in the premier league highest scoring chart with 16 goals including his goal against Newcastle United in Tuesday’s 3-0 premier league victory.

Goal.com reported:

"Emmanuel is one of the best in the world, without any doubt," Fabregas told Sky Sports.
"You cannot fault him in any way. He works, he defends, he chases the centre-backs, he goes behind, he can play to feet, he has a good first touch and a good technique.
"He has improved amazingly and for us I don't think we could live without Adebayor right now."

Arsenal has been impressive so far this season with a few ups and downs. It was unexpected to many that Arsenal could come up with such an amazing performance since their star forward Thierry Henry left for Barcelona at the beginning of the season. However, Arsene Wenger side is still atop the league point table sharing the place with defending champion Manchester United.
