India will play against their rival opponent Pakistan at Kingsmead, Durban in Twenty20 world cup 2007. The match will be held on Friday. Ahead of the Indian vs Pakistan match, fans are now excited. This is the first India vs Pakistan match in Twenty20 format. So, this match is going to be a special match in Twenty20 world cup.
Fans of both sides are eagerly waiting for the match. Whenever India and Pakistan play each other, the match does not remain a cricket match. It turns into a cricket war. Their fans always want their teams to dominate over the other. So, there is huge mental pressure on the players. That is why, it has seen several times in the past that players can not perform expectedly in India vs Pakistan match. So, sometimes good fielders miss easy catches, run outs because of huge pressure.
India’s recent fielding performance is not satisfactory. In the ODI series agasint England, India missed catches and their ground fielding was not so good. So, they must have to improve their fielding because any small mistakes can cause big lose for a team in Twenty20 format. Howver, India has some good fielders like Yuvraj Singh, Dinesh Karthik who are excellent in both catching and ground fielding.
Pakistan also has some good fielders like Imran Nazir, Shoaib Malik who will be vital for the match. Actually, India and Pakistan are in same level in terms of their fielding. To tell the truth, neither India nor Pakistan is famous for their fielding. However, if they continue their poor fielding in the next match then, no doubt, they have to cost a lot for that.
