India vs Pakistan Twenty20: Indian Bowling vs Pakistan Batting

India vs Pakistan match is now the main attraction of Twenty20 world cup 2007. Cricket fans are now waiting to see a classic match in the first India vs Pakistan Twenty20 match. So, the match is significant for both the teams. Pakistan started the tournament defeating Scotland in their first match. On the other hand, India’s first match against Scotland was not held due to rain in the ground. So, India is to share their points with Scotland. As a result, India is now under pressure. They have to win against Pakistan in order to ensure their entrance in the super eight round. If India loses against Pakistan then the team with higher run rate between India and Scotland will progress to the next round.

Having such pressure, India has to face their arch rival Pakistan for the first time in Twenty20 format. India’s bowling is not as stronger as their batting. The good news is that two experienced bowlers Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh have come back to the team and they have to lead India’s bowling in the match. However, if Harbhajan Singh is not taken in the first line up against Pakistan then it will be a big mistake for India. Piyush Chawla can also be vital for India. Another pacer Rudra Pratap Singh has the potential to come up with some impressive performances in the tournament. India has lots of options in their bowling because most of their players can bat and bowl.

Pakistan batting line up looks balanced. Their squad includes some hard hitters including Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Imran Nazir and Salman Butt. Experienced batsman Younis Khan is now in his prime form. So, Pakistan batsmen are capable to face Indian bowlers. So, I hope to see a competitive match between India and Pakistan. I think, you also hope the same.
