US Open 2007: Federer and Nadal are Favorite to Play the Final

US Open 2007 is going to start from 27 August. Ahead of this last Grand Slam of 2007, all the fans of tennis are now excited. World no. 1 Roger Federer is on the verge of creating a record in the forthcoming tournament. If he can win the championship then he would be the first person to win four consecutive US Open title in open era.

Now, ahead of the tournament, fans are hoping to see another Federer vs Rafael Nadal final in US Open 2007. The world no1 and world no. 2 have already played four Grand Slam final yet. So, people are expecting fifth Grand Slam of Federer and Nadal.

International Herald Tribune reported:

"Hey, New York is a crazy place," he said in a recent interview with The Associated Press. "There's the night. There's the humidity. There's the heat. There's the city. There's the wind. ... If you can win the U.S. Open, you can win anything."

"I want to play the final in every tournament," Nadal said. "I know that's impossible, but I'm going to try, no?"

After No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdowns at the French Open and Wimbledon, Federer and Nadal can become the first pair of men to contest three consecutive Grand Slam finals since Ken Rosewall and Fred Stolle in 1964-65.

So, before the start of US Open it seems that fans are exciting with the tournament. I hope whoever play in the final, it will be a classic one and fans will enjoy the match very much.
