US Open 2007: Favorites in Men’s Singles

You already know that US Open 2007 is now knocking at the door. The competing players are eagerly waiting to play their best and present some memorable moments to their fans. Newspapers, websites, TV channels are covering different news analysis of the forthcoming UP Open 2007 tournament. Today while searching in the net, I came across an interesting article on world’s top five ranked players in men’s tennis. Writers come up with some interesting news regarding the top five tennis players of Men’s tennis. Here, I want to quote some of the lines from that article:

ROGER FEDERER
Lynette Federer, for one, is glad her son released the biography The Roger Federer Story: Quest for Perfection. Lynette complained she wasn't always armed with the facts when fans asked her to reel off her son's accomplishments.

ANDY RODDICK
In the US Open final last year, it seemed the tide had finally turned. Roddick took the second set off the seemingly indestructible Federer. Is this the end for Federer? Is there a chink in the armour? Is he beatable after all? Federer composed himself and won the fourth and final set 6-1.

Actually, though US Open is one of the four grand slams in the tennis world, US Open has some special attraction because of its long tradition in world tennis. Many glorious incidents of tennis history happened at Flushing Meadows, New York. So, winning a US Open trophy is a dream for any tennis player. US Open 2007 will start from 27 August 2007. Roger Federer is the defending champion in Men’s singles and Maria Sharapova is the current champion in Women’s singles. So, let us hope a successful and memorable tournament.
