Trieu Trang Thu Trang represents Vietnam in in Miss Tourism Queen Intenational 2007

Twenty one year old model Trieu Trang Thu Trang from Vietnam has been chosen to represent Miss International Tourism 2007 started in China from July 11, 2007. Before coming to the contest Trieu Trang Thu Trang has won Miss Internet Popularity contest 2007. Thanhniennews.com reports:

The internet popularity contest is part of the ongoing Miss International Tourism Queen Pageant in China.

Trang is leading the online poll with 2,100 votes. In second and third place are contestants from Thailand and the Republic of Korea with 1,400 and 1,300 votes respectively.

Twenty-one-year-old model Trang was chosen to compete after she came in second place in northern Vietnam’s Tuyen Quang Beauty Pageant last year.

Beauty contest today has been condemned by many to have degraded the image woman around the world by objectifying them but it has also created major business opportunities around the world. Countries who take part in these contests have created their own beauty industry which created job opportunities for many people.
