FA Community Shield 2007: Wayne Rooney Looks for More Success with Manchester United

FA Community Shield 2007 match between Manchester United and Chelsea F.C. are coming nearer. The match will be held on 5 August 2007. Both the teams are now busy with taking preparation for the match. Ahead of the FA Community Shield 2007 match, Manchester United star Wayne Rooney is hopeful to lift another trophy. Rooney has recently said that he would seek more goals and more trophies in Manchester United. This 21 year old English talent has already served England national team in international matches. Saying that he improves after every match and would like to continue such improvement, Rooney pointed out that the current Manchester United squad is the best since his joining in Manchester United in 2004.

"Obviously, we want to do well and win the title again. But the Champions League is such a massive tournament, I would like to win that too.
"I don't feel there is any extra pressure on us because of what happened last season. You are always expected to perform at Manchester United.
"We are excited by the new signings - and I am sure, when the time comes, we will be ready to go."

Manchester United won the English Premier League 2006-2007 season. So, coach Sir Alex Ferguson is now determined to win the match. On the other hand, Chelsea F.C. got the ticket of FA Community Shield 2007 being the FA Cup 2006-2007. In the final Chelsea F.C. defeated Manchester United by 1-0.
