Japan has progressed to the semi final beating Australia in penalty shootout by 4-3. Australia played well but they were unlucky that they could not make it to the next round. At the end, they played with 10 men as referee showed red card to an Australian. I think the decision was not fair at all. Anyway, Japan played their best and they are now in the semi final.

After the 90 minutes, the score line was 1-1 but the next 30 minutes of extra time was goalless. Then in the tiebreaker, Australia missed the first two shots and that was a big blow for the Australian team. Congratulations Japan.
